This groundbreaking tool has been designed specifically for individuals at risk of losing their ability to speak, such as those diagnosed with ALS or other related conditions. With Personal Voice, users can now preserve their own unique voice by reading a series of text prompts to record 15 minutes of audio on their iPhone or iPad. For users with visual impairments, Apple has introduced Point and Speak in Magnifier. This feature, available on iPhones equipped with a LiDAR Scanner, allows individuals to interact with physical objects more effectively. By combining inputs from the camera, LiDAR Scanner, and on-device machine learning, Point and Speak announces the text on buttons as users move their fingers across the keypad.
