Cartoon Bear Drawing For Kids Easy Step by Step Full Tutorial :
Here are some easy and simple processes to draw a cartoon bear easily.
Requirement Materials :
Here are the materials we need to draw this picture.
- White paper
- Pencil sharpener
- Color Box
- Tissue paper
Step 1 –
Draw Margins Outside Your Page.
Drawing any picture starts with creating margins outside the page. This ensures that your artwork stays within the designated area and prevents tearing. Use white paper to provide a clean canvas for your drawing. Before you begin, take a moment to clear your mind and focus on the creative process. A calm and focused mind will help you produce better results.
Step 2 –
Draw a Bear’s Ear.
To draw the bear’s ear, start by sketching a small rectangle. Then, add two ear-like structures on top of the rectangle on either side. These ear-like structures resemble tillers and form the bear’s ears.
Step 3 –
Draw the Body of the Bear.
Next, draw the bear’s body using an oval shape. The body will look similar to a jackfruit. If you wish, you can make the body slightly plumper. Don’t forget to include two small semicircles inside the ears, representing the bear’s ear holes.
Step 4 –
Draw the Hands and Legs of the Bear.
Proceed to draw the bear’s hands. Keep them small to maintain proportionality. Position one hand up and the other down to add a playful touch. The bear’s legs will be smaller than its hands and will resemble rectangles. Avoid using a scale while drawing the hands and legs to maintain a freehand feel.
Step 5 –
Draw a Medal on the Bear’s Neck.
Though bears don’t typically wear medals, for this drawing, let’s give our bear a medal to create a fun and victorious look. Optionally, you can skip this step if you prefer a more traditional bear illustration.
Step 6 –
Draw the Bear’s Nose and Eyes.
The bear’s nose should be long and conical. Add two dots on either side of the nose to represent the eyes. Keep the eyes relatively small for a cute and endearing expression.
Look our outline drawing is almost complete. Now we color our drawing step by step.
Step 7 –
Color the Bear’s Body Yellow.
Now that the outline drawing is complete, it’s time to add some color. Use a yellow oil pastel to color the bear’s body. Lightly rub the color with a tissue paper for a smooth finish. If you wish, you can use a pencil to blend the yellow color further.
Step 8 –
Paint the Bear Brown over the Yellow.
Add a brown coating to the areas you previously colored yellow. This will create the bear’s characteristic fur. To add texture, draw hair on the bear’s body using a brown rule pencil.
Step 9 –
Add Black Shading on Brown.
Give a subtle black shading to the left side of the bear’s body to create depth and dimension. Use black colored rule pencils for this shading.
Step 10 –
Draw the Bear’s Nails and Paws.
Draw the bear’s paws using the black rule. Then, add the bear’s nails for a realistic touch. Finally, highlight the outline of the bear’s body slightly to make it pop.
Step 11 –
Color the Bear’s Headcloth.
For a fun twist, let’s add a red headcloth to the bear. This is an imaginative touch, as bears don’t usually wear clothes on their heads.
Step 12 –
Paint the Medal and Bear’s Nails.
Color the medal yellow, and the rope connecting it red and yellow. Also, paint the bear’s nails orange for a playful appearance.
Step 13 –
Add the Bear’s Shadow.
To complete the drawing, add a little blue color to create the bear’s shadow at its feet. Shadows add depth and make the drawing more realistic.
