How to Draw Chick Step-by-Step Full Tutorial :
Here are some easy and simple processes to draw a chick easily. Let’s start baby chick drawing, little friends.
Requirement Materials :
Here are the materials we need to draw this picture.
- White paper
- Color Box
- Pencil sharpener
- Tissue paper
Step 1 –
Draw Margins Outside on Your Page.
To begin, take a clean white paper and draw margins around it with the help of a scale. Leave about half an inch of space around the edges of the paper.
Step 2 –
Draw the Body of the Chicks.
The body of a chicken looks similar to a mango shape. Add a few hairs on top of the head from the front, and draw a small tail on the back.
Step 3 –
Draw the Eyes of the Chicks.
Using two small dots, draw the eyes of the chick. Add eyebrows above the eyes to make it look like the chick is looking forward.
Step 4 –
Draw the Lips of the Chicks.
The lips of the chicks will be small and thin. Remember, they are just born, so their lips won’t be very strong. Draw the lips just below the eyes.
Step 5 –
Draw the Hands and Feet of the Chicks.
Chickens have small wings and legs. Draw two wings on either side of the body – one below and the other above. Imagine the little chicken is saying ‘Hi’ to us. Then draw small legs under the chick.
Step 6 –
Draw the Eggshell.
As chicks come out of eggs, draw the eggshells lying around them. Show the eggshells broken into pieces.
Step 7 –
SStart Coloring the Chicks and Eggshells.
Using a yellow oil pastel, color the chicks first and then the eggshells. Rub a little with tissue paper on the paint to enhance the colors. Make the chicks more yellow and the eggshells light yellow. For the eggshell pieces, use a yellow rule pencil.
Step 8 –
Give Black Color Shading on the Eggshell.
Use a black rule pencil to add shading on the eggshell. Apply more black on the edge and less on the bottom.
Step 9 –
Give the Shading of Brown Color.
With a brown rule pencil, add brown shading on the side of the eggshell without black shading.
Step 10 –
Give Brown Shading to the Chick.
Using the brown rule pencil, add shading to the chick from top to bottom – from head to toe. The chicks will have a little more brown on the front and yellow on the back.
Step 11 –
Color the Chicken Tail Brown.
Continue with the brown shading, but this time focus on the side of the tail. The back of the head does not go brown.
Step 12 –
Paint the Lips and Shadow of the Chicks.
Use a pink pencil to give the chicks’ lips and feet a pink color. Now, paint the shadow using light blue rubbing. Shadows are essential as they give depth to the drawing. Above the chicken’s head, write “Happy Easter,” making it appear as if the chick is saying it to us.
