How to Draw a Castle Step by Step for Kids – Very Easy Drawing Tutorial For Beginner
Let’s start drawing pictures of Castle, little friends. Here are some easy and simple steps to draw a castle.
Requirement Materials :
Here are the materials we need to draw this picture.
- White paper
- Pencil sharpener
- Color Box
- Tissue paper
Step 1 –
Setting the Margins.
To begin, we’ll set the margins for our drawing. It’s crucial not to rush this step to ensure accurate proportions. Draw margins around the page, leaving half an inch of space. The margins add a touch of elegance to the overall picture.
Step 2 –
Creating the Castle Roof.
Next, let’s draw the triangular castle roof. Below the roof, we’ll construct tall walls extending downwards. To achieve this, draw a rectangular shape to represent the first part of the castle. Then, draw a long straight line along the ground.
Step 3 –
Building a Second Castle.
On the opposite side of the first castle, we’ll construct another castle that looks identical. Both houses should mirror each other. The main castle, where the emperor lived, will be built where the two lands converge.
Step 4 –
Constructing the Main Castle.
The main castle is the centerpiece of our drawing. It sits between the two branched castles. In front of the main castle, there should be a large connecting wall. This wall will house the main door and be heavily guarded.
Step 5 –
Adding Doors and Windows.
Let’s draw a big door in front of the main castle. We’ll also create a curvy road leading up to the door. Additionally, add small windows to the castle houses. Lastly, don’t forget to draw a triangular flag on the castle roof.
Now that we’ve completed the drawing, it’s time to bring our castle to life with colors! Follow the steps below for a vibrant castle illustration.
Step 6 –
Painting the Castle Walls Pink.
Using pink watercolor, paint the entire castle walls. Take care not to paint over the doors and windows. Ensure an even distribution of the pink color for a beautiful effect.
Step 7 –
Coloring the Castle Roof Blue.
Color the castle roof with a light shade of blue. Begin by painting the walls first and then move on to the roof. Apply the blue color from top to bottom. Make sure to let the pink color dry completely before starting the blue.
Step 8 –
Painting the Doors and Windows Brown.
After the blue and pink colors have dried, paint the doors and windows brown. Mix in some black color to achieve the desired shade of brown. For the street in front of the main door, use a slightly darker shade of orange by adding some red color.
Step 9 –
Adding Yellow to the Ground.
Once the orange color on the street has dried, paint the ground with a very light yellow color. The ground doesn’t need to be painted evenly with yellow as we’ll be adding green on top.
Step 10 –
Green Highlights and Black Outlines.
Now, apply green color over the yellow for the ground. There’s no need to wait for the yellow to dry; you can apply green when it’s still wet. For the final touch, use a black marker pen to outline the drawing and add details to make it stand out.
