Requirement Materials :

Here are the materials we need to draw this picture.

  • White paper
  • Pencil
  • Pencil sharpener
  • Eraser
  • Pink, Green, Yellow, Red Color.

1. Draw the Margins on a White Paper.

White paper

To begin, take a clean white paper and draw the margins by keeping half an inch of space around the edges. This will help to equalize the margins and give your drawing a neat appearance.

2. Draw the Head and Chest of the Dragon.

Draw head and chest

Start by drawing the head and chest of the dragon. The body structure of the dragon resembles the shape of the English number ‘1’. Draw a long and slender head with two high nostrils in front, giving it the appearance of a small hill.

3. Draw Two Ears on the Head.

Next, draw two ‘sheep-like’ ears on either side of the dragon’s head. Then, add a small tail at the back and draw short legs for the dragon. Keep the dragon looking a bit thin and cute. Draw two small eyes just in front of the head and two eyebrows above the eyes to give it a friendly expression.

4. Draw Wings and High/Low Thorns on the Back.

Now, draw two sharp horns in front of the dragon’s head. These horns are quite dangerous, and if anyone gets hit with them, they will be in trouble! The dragon’s unique identity lies in the high and low spines on its back, so be sure to draw those as well.

5. Draw the Dragon’s Hands, Stomach, and Teeth.

Teeth

Proceed to draw a semi-circle under the dragon’s face to depict its stomach. Then, draw a small hand right next to the abdomen. For the dragon’s mouth, create sharp and fierce teeth in the middle. This will add a touch of fierceness to your adorable dragon.

6. Paint the Body of the Dragon.

Start filling color

It’s time to add some colors to your drawing! Take a green color and carefully fill in the body of the dragon. Make sure to stay within the outline to maintain a clean look. Color the dragon’s wings green as well as both of its ears, leaving some space in between.

7. Color the Rest of the White Parts of the Dragon Pink.

Fill pink color

Now, use pink color to fill in the dragon’s belly and each thorn on its back. Just like before, be mindful not to go beyond the outline. Also, color the dragon’s horns and occasionally use pink on its wings.

8. Draw Eye Teeth and Shadows while Highlighting the Outline.

To make your dragon drawing even more appealing, make its eyes black. Outline the dragon with a black marker to make it stand out. Darken the pink color on the thorns and make the dragon’s eyebrows black. Now, your dragon looks more alive and captivating!
